Job Title: Summer Camp Counselor

Schedule: Part-Time or Full-time, weekdays 8 AM – 5 PM, June through August

About Camp Max: Camp Max provides a fun, safe, and engaging summer experience for local children (ages 5–12) through active play, outdoor exploration (including Acadia), water activities, and creative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in daily activities

• Facilitate games, crafts, and outdoor adventures

• Ensure camper safety and well-being at all times

• Maintain a respectful and positive attitude as a role model

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children is preferred

• Ability to participate in physical activity and outdoor settings

• Comfortable with tasks such as traveling, lifting, and being active all day

Harbor House Children’s Center has fulltime positions working with children ages 12 months-4 years old. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, caring and learning environment, supervising activities and communicating effectively with parents and other staff. Must be 18 or older, hold a valid driver’s license and provide references.
