Ingrid Wilbur Kachmar

Ingrid grew up in Southwest Harbor and has a long history with Harbor House. She graduated from Babson College with a BS in Management and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. For 10 years she owned and operated several retail stores on Mount Desert Island and in Portland. In 2001, Ingrid and her husband, John, purchased Wilbur Yachts, a family-owned business that her parents started in 1972.

Ingrid served on the Board of Directors of Harbor House from 2003-2008, and was an active fundraising coordinator during that time. She has two children, Spencer and Sydney, who have participated in various Harbor House programs over the years. Her understanding of the needs of our communities and of Harbor House programming, coupled with her business experience, makes her a perfect fit for Harbor House.


Andrew Farnsworth
Sports & Youth Center Director / Camp Max Director

Andrew graduated from Husson University in 2018 with a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. Andrew worked with Camp Max two summers ago and we are thrilled to have him back on the staff full-time.



Diana Novella
Events & Community Relations Director

Diana and her family have lived in Southwest Harbor for over 20 years. Prior to moving to Maine, Diana worked as a Training Manager for Banana Republic and Abercrombie and Fitch. She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has a degree in Business Management. Diana and her husband, Eric, owned a business in Southwest Harbor for 9 years prior to her joining the Harbor House family. Her love of community and Harbor House attracted her to this position.  


Lisa Tweedie
Health & Fitness Director / Office Manager

Lisa has been a health and wellness professional for over 20 years. She is an AFAA certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Lisa also holds several other fitness certifications, including indoor cycling, step and Punk Rope. She strives to help people to find the fitness plan that matches their level, goals, and individual needs. In her spare time, Lisa is an avid runner, swimmer and biker; getting outdoors to enjoy Acadia National Park as much as she can.

Crystal Noyes
After School Program Director / Camp Max Director

Crystal began working for harbor house 15 years ago as an after school assistant. Over the years she has been a Kindercare teacher, summer camp counselor, interim summer camp director, and a coach for youth sports. Since 2005 she has thoroughly enjoyed learning, laughing, and growing as a preschool teacher at the children's center.

Crystal was thrilled to be asked to create and run the new after school program in 2011. With two children of her own, she understood the needs of working parents. She wanted to create a safe, fun, and enriching after school program that both parents and children would appreciate. Crystal and her husband, Cliff, feel very fortunate to be raising their children in such a wonderful community here in Southwest Harbor.

Summer is a financial professional with over a decade of industry experience. She graduated from Stonehill College with a BSBA with a concentration in accounting and a minor in creative writing.  She was seeking a more meaningful involvement in the community within her professional life, which brought her to Harbor House. Outside of work she loves to spend time in nature and with her family.
