This year, Harbor House has pulled out all the stops to create a unique and exciting summer experience for campers in grades 2 through 6. What was great about the Camp Harbor House Sports Camp and the popular Explorer Camp has been combined into Camp MAX!, including, for the first time at any camp on the Island, four themed overnight camping trips.
Camp MAX! will give children an opportunity to maximize their summer camp fun with sports, activities, explorations and adventures. Here, children will experience the wonders, challenges, opportunities and historic sites of our beautiful island in an atmosphere of companionship, care and fun.
Additionally, Camp Harbor House is offering a NEW Junior Counselor program for students in 7th and 8th grades. These students are invited to spend a week or a summer as a Camp Harbor House Junior Counselor, enjoying all the great activities that Camp MAX! offers while learning valuable leadership skills that will last a lifetime. And, as always, Camp Harbor House offers schedules to meet the needs of working parents.

Our Mission for Camp Harbor House
To learn to play well and have fun together, while we develop our sportsmanship, self-reliance, courage, stamina, creativity and profound appreciation for the magnificent natural world that surrounds us on Mount Desert Island.
Camp Harbor House Activities
Basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer, golf, volley ball (new this year), swimming, gardening, painting, exploring, discovering, napping, singing, learning, growing, competing, and creating.
