Summer Health & Fitness 2008 Our goal at Harbor House is to provide our community with the best health and fitness programs possible. We've changed our rate structure, and we are offering new Membership Rewards that come with valuable free and discounted classes to help you stay healthy, get fit and be well. If your goal is to lose weight, get toned, de-stress or just be more active our $25 per month Annual Membership is a great place to start. Group Fitness Classes
55 + Active Older Adults Free to 3 month, 6 month, and annual members. Non-members pay day fee or purchase a $70 punch card. Mon, Wed, and Fri 9:00 – 10:00a.m. This weight training class focuses on individual needs, with each participants program individually designed. Each hour session includes warm up and flexibility exercises, muscle strengthening, cardiovascular and cool down. Participants can choose from a wide variety of equipment, all of which are demonstrated for proper usage. Core of the Matter Free to 3month, 6month, and annual members. Non-members pay day fee or purchase a $70 punch card. Mondays and Fridays 10:15-10:45am This is a complete 30 minute class of intense abdominal and core exercises. Each workout is designed for all levels of fitness. Bring your energy, choose your intensity, and your body will reap the benefits! Cardio Sculpt Free to 3month, 6month, and annual members. Mondays and Thursdays 7:15-8:15a.m. This is a Heart Healthy class consisting of 20-25 minutes of easy movements to strengthen muscles, including the heart. Then we’ll follow that up with twenty minutes of strength exercise then cool down for 5-10 minutes with stretching and yoga. Core muscles are emphasized. This workout is adaptable for all ages. Weights, tubes and bands are provided. Cardio-Pulm Rehab Free for all members and non-members. Mondays and Fridays 2:00 - 3:00p.m. Members of our community are coming to the Harbor House to work with professional medical staff and fitness instructor, monitoring their progression as they exercise. Participants have been sent by health care providers to maintain an ongoing exercise program designed to continue their required physical fitness regime. Indoor Cycling Classes A unique Indoor Cycling workout that brings the elements of athletic training to people of all fitness levels. Cycling is not just a “hard-core” fitness program for elite athletes. Instead, this high-energy group exercise integrates music, camaraderie and visualization. All classes are individualized for participants of any age or ability. Session fees listed below. Multi-Level Indoor Cycling $ 21 members, $ 30 non-members, $ 70 punch card, $10 drop in fee. More Classes at Harbor House Kripalu Gentle Yoga Instructor Mary Grace Allen $8 per class (pay instructor) Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:00 pm This class is perfect for a novice, or for a seasonal yoga enthusiast who prefers the gentle meditative version of yoga. Gentle yoga removes any fears or challenges in doing yoga, while it also assists with stress reduction and weight management. It creates an atmosphere of safety and comfort that fosters self-acceptance and self-love. Anusara Yoga Instructor Mary Kate Murray Monday 5:30-7:00pm and Thursday and Friday 10:00-11:30am Learn the fundamental principals of Anusara yoga which stands for “flowing with grace,” and following your heart.” Listen to your body and feel the calibration of your heart by practicing balanced energetic action. This uplifting and dynamic class is appropriate for mixed levels, from beginners to moderate level yoga students. Vinyasa Flow Yoga Instructor Jodi Jacobs $10 per class (pay instructor) Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-6:30p.m. Vinyasa Flow is an invigorating version of classic hatha yoga. In this fun, lively class students flow from one posture to the next with an emphasis on body alignment, breath, and mindfulness. Postures may be held for several minutes to encourage muscular release and to help cultivate focus and calm. Suitable for all levels.

Group Rates: $180 per person for a group of 15 or more or $200 per person for a group of 5 to 14 people. Group rates are reserved for businesses and organizations.
