Phases I and II are complete on the new facility at Herrick Road! We have a new home for the Children's Center and a multipurpose aerobics and movement space along with showers and locker rooms. Once funding for Phase III is raised we will complete the building with an exercise and weight room and additional office space. Completion of the Herrick Road facility represents the last major effort of our Capital campaign and will truly turn Harbor House into a Community Center campus. In order to complete the project donations of any size to the Capital Campaign are still greatly appreciated! If you haven't already, please also consider planned giving, gifts of appreciated assets, and memorial gifts.
When we launched the Campaign in 2001 our goals were bold: to establish a $500,000 endowment, to raise additional funds for the sailing center, to renovate the Old Yellow School House and to replace the existing Herrick Road building with a new multi-purpose facility. These goals represent our desire to solidify our organizational structure while planning strategically for the future.
